Udupi: Peace Foundation helps poor, disabled during lockdown

Udupi, Apr 6: Peace Foundation, Udupi, founded by Dr Sonia and its members, have helped poor and disabled people since two days by distributing food kits.

The foundation helped as many as 20 poor families by providing 80 kgs of rice and grocery items to those who are living in sheds at Brahmavar near Shyamili Sabha Bhavana.

Peace Foundation has always assisted poor and needy people. It is an NGO started for social activities. It distributed masks and sanitizers to people and conducted awareness on coronavirus and how to take precautionary measures in preventing the spreading virus.

Wilson Mascarenhas, manager of the foundation, Jagadheesh Bhat, member, and others were present.
