2 more test COVID-19 positive in Odisha, tally at 23


Bhubaneswar, Apr 5 (IANS): The number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha mounted to 23 as two more persons tested positive in Bhubaneswar on Sunday, said the health department.

One 70-year-old male of Kapila Prasad Housing Board Colony Phase II, who had returned from Australia on March 22, has tested COVID-19 positive. The person was in home quarantine after returing from aboard.

One 29-year-old male from Bomikhal was found positive during active surveillance, said the health department in a tweet.

Earlier, three siblings tested positive in Bomikhal area.

The total positive cases in Bhubaneswar have increased to 16 while two have been cured brining down the active cases to 14.
