Udupi: 13 vehicles seized for violating lockdown regulations

Udupi, Apr 2: Nearly 13 vehicles have been seized for violating the lockdown regulations in Udupi as of April 2. Traffic Police along with personnel from town police station Udupi had conducted this raid. These vehicles were taken on streets by their respective owners unnecessarily without any valid reason.

The checking was conducted in Kalsanka, Beedinagudde, Ad Udupi and other parts of the city. During this time the officials found as many as 13 vehicles moving on the road without a valid reason. This includes 12 two-wheelers and one four-wheeler.

The vehicles will be in seizure until the lockdown period ends. The owners will have to pay the fine as per the regulations. This drive will continue until April 14.

Udupi Circle inspector Manjunath, town SI Satyavelu and Sadashiva and others participated in the drive.
