Mangaluru: Sahyadri College contributes Rs 5 lac towards CM relief fund for COVID-19

Mangaluru, Apr 2: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru to extend support to fight against COVID-19, the management, faculty and staff members contributed their one day salary, a total of Rs 5 lac. Manjunath Bhandary chairman Sahyadri College handed over the cheque to deputy commissioner Sindhu B Roopesh IAS of DK, in the presence of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Dr Bharath Kumar Shetty, district in-charge secretary Ponnuraj IAS, DK Zilla Panchayat CEO Selvamani R, IAS and Jaganath Chowta trustee, Bhandary Foundation.

Sahyadri fraternity appreciated DC of Dakshina Kannada, Sindhu Roopesh for the able leadership in handling the situation in Dakshina Kannada and the effectiveness in curbing the spread of the virus and the seamless integration of the strategies amidst the people.
