Mangaluru: Sudha Murthy's timely action lauded by police commissioner

Mangaluru, Mar 28: Through a tweet, city police commissioner here, Dr Harsha P S, has thanked chairperson of Infosys Foundation, Sudha Murthy, for promptly responding to the call of the city police for help.

The city police, on behalf of Dakshina Kannada district administration, had sought urgent supply of critical medical supplies.

The demand was met and medical supplies worth Rs 28 lac were arranged, which reached the city within 36 hours.

The commissioner has thanked Sudha Murthy and Infosys Foundation's Ramadas Kamath and their team for their excellent job and prompt response.

    What are our MLA's MP's doing at this hour. get out your comfort zone and be the leader by serving the society unconditionally. Show your power and human nature in this hour, rather than wasting time on unnecessary political vedanta's. Don't use this opportunity to politicize the situation.

    To be a CM, she must contest election and win with a required margin. No party will give her CM's post outright, at the most she'll be a MLA to begin with. If she contests independently its impossible to get the required number of votes.

    Nevertheless, I don't think she has time to waste for politics. We are happy with her corporate and humanitarian work.
