B Sachidananda Shetty, brother of Dr B R Shetty passes away at 82

Bengaluru/Udupi, Mar 28: Bavaguthu Sachidananda Shetty, elder brother of well-known NRI entrepreneur Dr B R Shetty, passed away in the morning on Saturday, March 28 at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru. He was 82.

Sachidananda Shetty was well-known in the field of Life Insurance Company and retired as a manager.

He leaves behind two sons and two daughters. His wife was passed away a few years ago.

He was like a father figure to Dr B R Shetty, said his close associate to Daijiworld. He was guiding him throughout his career.

Final rites will be performed at Bavaguthu, Kaup, Udupi district, on Sunday morning.

    Very much saddened to hear about the sad demise of Shri B Sachidananda Shetty.
    " Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon" ( holy Quran) -- (Verily we all are from the God and to him only is our return.).

    Dear Dr.B.R.SHETTY VERY MUCH SADENNED TO hear about the demise of Sachianna.I lost a good friend and a guide.The doors of Roshini were always open for me.His hospitality is a memorable. A simple and down to earth person.Always helpful.My condolences to Shishir and shirin. And also to other bereaved family members.Feel sad that I will be missing to pay the last homage.May god give you all strength to digest this irreparable loss may Szchiannas soul rest in peace.

    Mr B S shetty was a throrugh gentle man and with his simplicity he was dear to everyone. By being Dr B R Shetty's elder brother he guided him in right direction and he was a great strength to him. Both brothers were instrumental in getting out two editions of The land called south Kanara, a coffe table book which I authored a few years ago. Me Heartfelt condolences to his family and May his soul rest in peace.
