Bantwal, Mar 27: Coronavirus pandemic is steadily widening its clutches on the people of all ages in the society. In a shocking incident a 10-month-old baby of Sajipanadu village of the taluk is confirmed to be infected with the dreaded virus.

The baby was taken to a private hospital as it developed fever and acute shortness of breath. As the doctors suspected coronavirus symptoms in the baby, the throat swab was sent to the laboratory for testing on Wednesday.
