Bengaluru: Dream Kit emerge as winners at Elevate Karnataka Call 2

Bengaluru, Mar 12: A total of six startups of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru, were at Lalit Ashok Hotel, Bengaluru, during March 9-10, pitching their product/service/solution for seed funding at the Elevate Call2 (YR2019-20), an initiative of the Department of Information Technology and Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka. Out of these, Dream Kit, a product from DTi Labz Private Limited is proud to stand as the winner of Elevate Karnataka Call 2.

After clearing through at the multi-city pitching held at K-Tech, Mangaluru, the team was declared to be one of the finalists of Elevate Call 2.

Aashish U S project head at DTi Labz Private Limited and Akarsh Shetty, Intern at DTi Labz and a Sahyadri College final-year Electronics and Communication Engineering student, pitched their business plan of Dream Kit to the Grand Jury on March 9 at the finale. Out of 320 finalists all over Karnataka, DTi Labz is one of the startups of Sahyadri to emerge as the winner of Elevate Call 2 and receive fund support from the Government of Karnataka. Over 90 startups were declared winners of Elevate Call 2 and Elevate Unnati FY 2019-2020. Dream Kit is an educational kit for the young minds to learn, play and create. It is an ever-growing library of electronic building blocks that snaps to each other just with a single wire and can be programmed with simple English. The team at DTi Labz is progressively working towards building Dream Kit as a complete platform for inspiring kids to create and reinvent their world.
