Mangaluru, Mar 6: Jaimon Dennis Quadros, Assistant Professor, Birla Institute of Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Ras Al Khaimah was awarded a PhD in Mechanical Engineering Sciences for his thesis titled 'Effect of Parameters on Base Pressure in A Suddenly Expanded Duct at Supersonic Mach Number Regimes using CFD and Design of Experiments'.
He was awarded on February 8 by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
This thesis was prepared under the guidance and supervision of Dr Antony A J, former principal, Beary’s Institute of Technology, Mangaluru and Dr S A Khan, former principal of PA College of Engineering, Mangaluru,
Jaimon is the son of Joseph Arthur Quadros, retired tahsildar and Stella Quadros, a retired teacher, Milagres English Medium Primary School, Mangaluru.
