Mangaluru: International entrepreneurship conference to be held on Feb 28 at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Feb 27: The department of Business Administration and Entrepreneurship Development Forum of St Agnes College (Autonomous) here in collaboration with JCI Mangaluru, Lalbagh and A1 Logics, here on February 28 will be organizing a one-day international conference on the theme 'Green Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development' at the conference hall, Sophia block, St Agnes College. The conference focuses on developments in green entrepreneurship and green marketing, aiming at useful insights to sustain as a green entrepreneur.

The conference will be inaugurated by Kaveen Kumar, executive vice-president, Area C, JCI India, Karthikeya Madhyastha zone president Zone XV JCI India will be the guest of honour, Dr Thirumaleswari, Assistant Professor in the Post Graduate Department of Business Administration at Sri Chandra Sekarendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidyalaya will be the keynote speaker. Sr Dr Jeswina, principal St Agnes college will preside over the programme.

The valedictory will be held on the same day at 4.00 pm.

There will be three technical sessions namely panel discussion and concept selling competition.

Tara Celli, an entrepreneur from USA, Megan Dsouza, communication head, anti-pollution drive, Dr Balasubrahmani, professor, department of ISE and in-charge of Nitte start-up Eco Space, NMAMIT are the resource speakers. The panellists are Socrates K, deputy director MSME Development Institute Mangaluru, Pradeep K, deputy general manager and branch head IDBI Bank Kankanady, Satish B K senior counsel and legal advisor, Geethananda Pai, commercial accountant, Gaurav Hegde, former president, KISA and Dr Devi Prabha, Associate Professor of Commerce, St Agnes College. Praveen Udupa, founder and Technical Director A1 Logics will moderate the panel.

There will be a concept selling competition for innovative ideas to be presented at the conference.
