Mangaluru: Newly built barrier wall, steps at Vyasa Nagar in Kadri inaugurated

Mangaluru, Feb 24: The steps and barrier wall near KPT Vyasanagar of Mangaluru north Vidhana Sabha constituency Kadri B ward 22 is completed at a cost of Rs three lac out of MLAs funds. MLA Dr Y Bharath Shetty inaugurated them.

Local corporator Jayanand Anchan, Sri Rama Bhajana Mandir KPT president Ganesh Bangera, Kavoor Mahashakthi Kendra chief secretary Ramesh Acharya, Dakshina Kannada district Mahila Morcha member Sevanti Sriyan and Booth No, 134 president Umesh Shetty, chief secretary Vivek, booth’s former president Umesh Shetty, Udayanagara party office bearers, party activists and elders were present. Contractor Gopal Shetty was felicitated by MLA Bharath Shetty by shawl and flower bouquet.

The concretization of road near KPT Udayanagar at Kadri ward 22 is completed by Rs 12 lacs from MLA’s development fund. MLA Dr Y Bharath Shetty inaugurated it. The MLA said that inner roads that get damaged in the monsoons can be repaired by regional development fund. “Such roads will be indentified and developed in stages,” he said.

The inauguration was held with the cooperation of people with pomp and gaiety.

Dr Bharath Shetty was felicitated by Madhava Devadiga by presenting flower bouquet and shawl. Local coporator Jayanand Anchan, Sri Rama Bhajana Mandir KPT president Ganesh Bangera, former booth president Umesh Shetty and several party elders were identified, presented shawls and flower bouquets. Booth president Umesh Shetty and chief secretary Vivek and senior office bearers were present.

Contractor Santhosh Kodikal was honoured in particular by shawl and flower bouquet.
