Kasargod: Veteran BJP leader Kuntaru Ravish Tantri resigns from party positions

Daijiworld Media Network - Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, Feb 23: Kuntaru Ravish Tantri, a senior BJP leader and religious scholar, has made up his mind not to nurse political ambitions. He wants to get fully involved with the religious field.

Tantri said that he has decided to resign from all the posts he holds in the party and that he would inform the party leaders in writing about his decision on February 24. Tantri, it may be recalled, had fought Lok Sabha and assembly elections as a BJP candidate but had failed to win.

Tantri had functioned in different Sangh Parivar outfits between 1994 and 2016. Thereafter he had plunged into active politics. He wishes that the BJP will prosper further. He said he will continue with the religious activities and the Sangh Parivar henceforth.
