Madina, Feb 23: The annual general body meeting of Dakshina Karnataka Sunni Center (DKSC), Madeen Munavvar unit was held at Madeen under the presidentship of Janab Imtiyaz Kundapur, vice president of DKSC central committee.
The programme was inaugurated by the convener of Al Khadisa Kavalakatte Saudi Arabia, Yusuf Madani Koyyur. Speaking on the occasion, Koyyur said, "In this tourist life, we should not live only for self but also help the orphan and destitute in the society. Then only our life becomes fruitful in heaven also." He also gave a call to everyone to cooperate with the organization, which is working for the community.
Addressing the gathering Majid Kannangar, chief secretary of DKSC Tayyif unit explained the path the organization has treaded since its inception and asked everyone to help Al Ihsan organization in its future projects.
A new committee was elected in the presence of election officer and chief secretary of Makattul Mukarramma Janab Ismail Hydros Moodigere. Mansoor Uchhila was elected as the new president. Iqbal Kuppepadavu got re-elected as the chief secretary. The other office-bearers include Ashraf national as treasurer, Mohammed Ali Panemangaluru as honorary president of National committee, Suleiman Mitteripade and Ashraf Keenya as vice presidents, Asif Badyar and Junaid Ullal as joint secretaries, Abdul Razak Alakemajalu, Abdul Azeez Suribailu, Sarfraz Kuppepadavu and Badruddin Kabaka as conveners, Ashraf Sakafi Nooji as in-charge of Swalat Majlis and Sharif Maravoor as public relations officer.
Azhar Krishnapura, Abdul Razak Baitadka, Hussainar Mapel, Sulaiman Turkalike, Sharif Mata, Farookh Alake, Mustafa Kuppepadavu, Rafiq Panemangaluru, Asif Kunjathbail, Hasainar Farangipet and Adam Kakkepadavu were elected as members of the executive committee.
Drive was given to 'Family Mulakaat' programme that will take place at Jeddah under the Makkah zone. Chief secretary of Jeddah unit Amanullah Vamanjoor and others were present in the meeting.
Mohammed Ali Panemangaluru welcomed the gathering. Chief secretary Iqbal Kuppepadavu compered the programme.
