These seem to be regular occurrences these days. Every week one reads about a bus hitting a pedestrian or a motor-cyclist.

It is time that speed rules are strictly enforced all over India and thus save lives.

I join scores of people in offering condolences to the members of Mamatha's family.

    RIP Mamatha Poojary.
Dear commuters of Mangaluru & udupi.
Bus drivers are drive the bus with negligence & high speed without care. Any severe action or strict traffic rules has not been implemented in our districts by concerned authourities untill now. Everyday we read & hear same kind of news. Here traffic rules, system condition is pathetic. Two wheeler riders specially ladies need to learn well in grounds & better come to main road once well practiced. Survival is very important so better we have to make safe ourselves.

I have noticed this bus being driven extremely negligently multiple times. The driver does not bother about other vehicles on the road and drives at full speed on the very same road where this incident happened. There was a near collision right in front of my eyes, because the bus just entered the junction at full speed and narrowly missed a 2 wheeler.

Why do they keep getting away with this?

So sad! A young precious soul is lost because of careless driving of the bus driver!. Use of mobile phones should be completely banned and law should be enforced strictly. The passengers of the bus should object and stop if they see a driver using the phone while driving!
