Mumbai, Feb 17: Vijaya College, Mulki alumni association Mumbai unit held a friendly get together at Vijayalaxmi Mahesh Shetty mini auditorium, Kurla (East) on Saturday night, Feb 15.

Unit president Anand Shetty presided over the function and Jagathika Bantara Sangha federation president Aikala Harish Shetty was the chief guest.



Office bearers and elite people were present for the event. Rajkumar Karnad and Rathna Umanath Shetty sang songs while Amitha Kala Vrinda Mira Road group, Tanwi Dayanand and Shrathi Janardhan performed dances. Mayoor and Harsh Rohitaksha Devadiga brothers gave information on Yoga exercises. Shashidhar R Bangera conducted the cultural programme.

Members of the executive committee, advisory committee and alumni were present. Chitra Ganesh Shetty sang a prayer. Treasurer Ashok Devadiga read previous year’s financial report. Rathnaker R Salian, Sarita Rao, Pushpa Shetty, Dinesh C Salian, Bhasker B Shetty, Takshila Prasad Bhandary introduced the felicities and the talented children. Vasudeva M Salian, Harish Hejmady compered the programme. Secretary, advocate Shekar S Bhandary read the annual report and rendered the vote of thanks.
