Mangaluru, Feb 15: Anushree Raj HOD - MSc Big Data Analytics on February 5 delivered a seminar on 'Big Data Analytics in Ecommerce' to the BCom - A, B and C batch students St Agnes College giving an insight on what is big data and how the data analytics plays an important role in Ecommerce with suitable case studies and real time examples.

The students were briefed on various career opportunities in the field of data analytics and were also drawn attention to the skills essential to grab a variety of professional positions. She enlightened the students by introducing them the two courses, MSc Big Data Analytics and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Data Analytics offered by the PG Department of Big Data Analytics at St Agnes Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, Mangaluru. The informative session motivated the students take up one of these courses.

On Feb 6 a seminar on 'Big data and Artificial Intelligence' was delivered by her for BCA and BSc students. She gave an insight on what is big data and the revolution of data towards machine learning and artificial intelligence explaining to them how the new era of artificial intelligence is influencing the life of very individuals and asking them to upgrade themselves in the field of big data analytics and AI.
