Mangaluru: Teaser of Kannada movie ‘Maaya Kannadi’ released

Mangaluru, Feb 13: The teaser of Kannada movie ‘Maaya Kannadi’ starring Kaajal Kunder was released on Febrauary 11.

Maya Kannadi is directed by Vinod Poojary and produced by Sapana Patil. Apart from Kaajal Kunder, Prabhu Mundkur, Ashwin Rao Pallaki, and Anvitha Sagar also playing important roles in the movie. The movie is shot across Udupi and Surathkal.

Speaking about her role, Kaajal Kunder said, "I play a student counsellor in the movie that comes to help the students of a college, but somehow entangles her in an ongoing crime situation. The movie is a suspense thriller in the backdrop of the deadly Blue Whale game which took lives of many college going kids. The audience can expect an edge of the seat experience and also there is a message which will connect with everyone from younger generation to older ones,” said Kaajal Kunder.

Kaajal Kunder is currently shooting for Kannada film ‘KTM’ directed by Arun who earlier directed ‘Atharva’ and also Tulu film 'Maaji Mukhyamantri’ directed by Trishul Shetty.

'Maaya Kannadi' movie is expected to release on February 28.

Kaajal Kunder is one of the emerging talents in the film industry, who has the experience of working in four different film industries such as Tulu, Hindi, Kannada and Marathi.

Kaajal Kunder hails from Sasihitlu, presently settled in Mumbai. She completed her bachelor’s in Mass Media and advertising at SIES College Navi Mumbai. She is the daughter of Ganesh and Sharada Kunder.
