Media Release

Dubai, Feb 9: In keeping with the festive spirit of Carnaval, which is celebrated with pomp and parade in the state of Goa, a grand and UAE’s biggest Goan traditional Carnaval event called 'Carnaval De Goa' will be held on February 21 (Friday) at Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai on Airport Road starting from 3 pm until midnight, with an expected crowd of 3,000 from all over the UAE and other countries as well.

Razzmatazz 360 Degrees events along with Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai, have lined up a power packed and spectacular entertainment throughout the evening which includes the Grand Carnaval Parade along with King Momo and his entourage with the traditional Goan brass band. The event will also feature for the very first time Carnaval Bazaar with stalls selling crafts, paintings, books and much more. One can capture the event’s historic moments and memories at the Carnaval photo booth. A fun-filled day is in store for all children at the play area. The event is incomplete without Goan food and for this, a Goan food stall has been arranged with authentic Goan food.

Black in White, Goa’s most happening band will be flown all the way from Goa for this extraordinary event and will be sharing the stage with Abu Dhabi’s hottest dance band Sensations and Sharjah’s fame, Desert Rain. DJ Roland and DJ Stanz will enthrall the 3000+ audience by spinning some foot-tapping tunes.

Flown all the way from Goa is 'Glory' movie fame Veloshka Da Costa who will put up a special performance in Konkani language with Dubai’s famed Konkani singers Edwin, Manuxin and Rosario.

The charm and splendour of the Grand Carnaval de Goa event will be enthusiastically orchestrated by Dubai’s lively host, Boney Coelho and Abu Dhabi’s Renowned MC, Conrad Caeiro with an event flow which will leave the Carnaval revellers spellbound.

The good news is that the entry is free with free transport service from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah and this event is not only for Goan community but for all communities in UAE and outside and for the young and the old.
