Bengaluru: Top police officials appointment list - Alok Mohan appointed DG prisons

Bengaluru, Jan 31: The state government, on Friday, January 31, announced the transfers of senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

Alok Mohan has been appointed as Director General of Police, Karnataka Prisons.

Praveen Sood is appointed as the new Director General and Inspector General of Police of Karnataka.

Amrit Paul, Inspector General of Police, Eastern Range, Davanagere, has been promoted as Additional Director General of Police, Recruitment, Bengaluru.


Alok Mohan

Umesh Kumar, Inspector General of Police and Additional Commissioner of Police, West, Bengaluru city, has been promoted and posted until further orders as Additional Director General of Police and Secretary to Government (PCAS), Home department, Bengaluru.

Arun Jeji Chakravarthy, Inspector General of Police, Western Range, Mangaluru, has been promoted as Additional Director General of Police and posted as Additional Director General of Police, Railways, Bengaluru.
