Beltangady: National awardee hopes others will draw inspiration from her

Beltangady, Jan 29: "I always had a dream of achieving something big. My parents and teachers supported my dream. Therefore, I could register this achievement. I wish that my achievement will inspire hundreds of other children to do something big in life. My sincere wish is that they also should become great achievers," said Pradhan Mantri Bala Puraskar awardee, Sunitha Prabhu Moorje.

She was speaking after accepting felicitation extended to her by the taluk students felicitation committee at a programme held at the Mini Vidhana Soudha here on Tuesday January 28. "The moments in which I was honoured by President of Indian, Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and minister, Smriti Irani, are unforgettable. I am overwhelmed at the fact that my achievement has been identified by a group of 2,000 students of the taluk," she said.

Nikshep N of Vani high school presided. Beltangady Holy Redeemer high school's Viyan Juvan D'Souza, Bhuvitha of government high school here, Beltnagady judge, Satish, MLA, Harish Punja, tahsildar, Ganapati Shastri, PWD engineer, Shivaprasasd Ajila, taluk panchayat standing committee president, Shashidhar Kalmanja, entrepreneur, Rajesh Pai, and parents of Sunita, Vivekananda Prabhu and Shantala Prabhu were present.

Gauravi of government high school Guruvayanakere, welcomed. Ashwit D'Silva of St Teresa high school here proposed vote of thanks. Beltangady SDM school's Sammed S Jain presented the programme.
