Puttur, Jan 29: Suresh (38) from Kattemajalu in Nelyady, who had suffered grievous injuries during an accident which happened at Bajathur Bedrody on December 29, breathed his last on Tuesday January 28. A container truck and a jeep were involved in the said accident and Suresh had been admitted into a hospital at Mangaluru.
Suresh was going in a jeep from Nelyady to participate in an engagement ceremony of a relative on December 29 when the said accident happened. Suresh is survived by wife,a daughter, and a son.
With this, the said accident has claimed its third victim. Jeep driver, Abubakker Siddique alias Nirma Siddique (46) from Puduvettu, who was driving the jeep, had died on the spot. K S Abdul Malik (48) from Golithottu, who too had suffered serious injuries, had passed away sometime later in a hospital at Mangaluru.
