Chikkamagaluru, Jan 28: "Just like Taliban terrorists, Popular Front of India (PFI) and Student Democratic Party of India (SDPI) are giving guns into the hands of innocents," said minister C T Ravi seriously accusing both PFI and SDPI organizations.

Ravi was speaking with the scribes at Chowla Hiriyoor of Kadur taluk of the district on Tuesday, January 28. He further said, "PFI and SDPI are the preliminary stage of Taliban organization. First the organizations, like Taliban, poisons the mind of people. Then they give guns to them. They had done this earlier in Afghanistan. In the same mode, PFI and SDPI are working in India. There is a need to put a break to the activities of both these organizations."

It is said that the state BJP government is mulling to send a proposal to the center to ban PFI and SDPI on the accusation of trying to murder Hindu leaders earlier in the state of Karnataka also. Accusations are also being heard that SDPI had hatched plots to kill MLA Tanveer Sait, MP Tejasvi Soorya, Chakravarthy Soolibele and former minister U T Khader.

Pro-Hindu organizations have already urged the state government to ban PFI and SDPI. Some seers also have supported the demands of these organizations. Similarly, some senior BJP leaders also have given public statements in this regard.
