Udupi: Kuilady Suresh Nayak appointed district BJP president

Udupi, Jan 28: Kuilady Suresh Nayak has been appointed as the president of Udupi district BJP.

Suresh Nayak is an agriculturist and transport operator by profession. He has done diploma in automobile engineering. He is a RSS Swayam Sevak since 1986 and completed his ITC and OTC in 1991 and 1999 respectively.

Nayak is working as a BJP worker since 1989. He has held several positions in the party. He was the general secretary in Udupi Mandala BJP in 1996. Nayak was the BJP district Yuva Morcha president in 2005. He was the general secretary of Udupi district BJP in 2008. He became the vice-president of Udupi district BJP in 2010. He was also the president of Udupi Taluk Agricultural Producers' Marketing Society Committee (APMC) in 2011. He got promoted as BJP Kaup Mandala president in 2013. Prior to getting elevated to the position of president, he was the general secretary of Udupi district BJP.

Apart from his contribution for the development of BJP in Kaup and Udupi, Suresh Nayak has served in various capacities in the Bus Operators' associations. He was the president of Udupi Bus Operators' Multipurpose coop society, president of Dharwad Bus Operator Association, general secretary of Canara Bus Operators' Association of Mangalore and Udupi district, treasurer in Karnataka State Bus Operators' Federation Bengaluru.

Suresh Nayak is the director of Amogha Social and Cultural forum and member of JCI of Udupi city.
