Mumbai, Jan 28: Billava Association Goregaon office, here, celebrated its seventeenth anniversary on Sunday January 26 at Brijwasi palace auditorium, Goregaon east. Billavara Association Mumbai president, Chandeshekar S Poojary chaired the celebrations. National Billava maha mandala honorary president, Bharath Bank president, Jaya C Suvarna lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme.

Billava Association office bearers and Bharath Bank officials were present. Ladies wing members celebrated Sankranti, performed Arasina Kumkuma and yellow vermilion.

Goregaon local office members and children presented a variety entertainment programme. Guru Narayana Yakshagana Mandali Mumbai performed ‘Bappanadu Kshetra Mahatme’ Yakshagana play.

Mamatha Poojary and party sang a prayer song. Sachindra K Kotian welcomed the gathering and gave an introductory address. Askhaya monthly magazine editor, Harish K Hejmady introduced the guests, congratulated the felicities and conducted a hall programme. Babita Janardhan Kotian compered the cultural programme and rendered the vote of thanks.
