Mangaluru, Jan 27: “Hasty decision among youth will be problematic. Their active participation in organizations helps them learn patience. Nobody can stop the success of those who have patience,” said MLA U T Khader.

He was speaking in the concluding of 30th anniversary celebrations of Catholic Sabha at Panir Our Lady of Mercy church at Church grounds on Sunday.

“Unity and patience are necessary in an organization. The organization should be ahead in teaching those qualities to youth. As it is difficult to speak, mutual cooperation is necessary to solve problems. Problems should not be transferred to office bearers but shouldered by all,” he said.



Catholic Sabha south zone spiritual director Fr Alfred Menezes said that Catholic Sabha has provided its own contribution during the last thirty years. “But it needs to serve in political and social sectors all the more and youth need to be prepared for it,” he said.

Mangaluru diocese chief priest Fr Monsignor Maxim L Noronha chaired the programme. Mangaluru south zone Joseph Vaz church chief priest Fr J B Saldanha, BJP former president Santhosh Kumar Rai, Shantidhama Mangaluru officer Sr Rita Vas, Vidhan Parishat member Ivan D’Souza, Panir unit’s Fr Denzil Suares, Mangaluru deanery Catholic sabha president Paul Rolfy D’Costa, south zone president Felix D’Souza, MCC bank president Anil Lobo, Panir church vice president of pastoral council Sarita D’Souza, secretary Gretta D’Cunha, Felix D’Souza, founder president Philip D’Souza and others were present.

Catholic Sabha Panir unit president Francis Cutinha welcomed the gathering. Secretary Jyosna Ruvita Menezes read the report. Reshma Santanez rendered the vote of thanks. Ashwini Louis and Ashwin Monteiro compered the programme.
