Mumbai: Interaction on Kannada proverbs held at Dombivli

Mumbai, Jan 23: Mayura Varma Cultural Foundation and Friends Swavalambana Kendra Dombivli held an interaction on Kannada proverbs at Ganesh Mandira auditorium, Dombivli on Saturday evening, January 18.

Well-known author, Raman Shetty Renjala in his lecture explained the meanings of the several Kannada proverbs and their significance.

A quiz on proverbs was held by the activists of Friends Swavalambana Kendra.

Shenoy Sham Bhat, couple lit the lamp and set the programme in motion. Mayura Varma Cultural Foundation secretary, Vishwanath Dodmane welcomed the gathering.

Kasturi Inapure gave an introduction.

Shenoy Sham Bhat who presided over the programme distributed prizes to the winners of the quiz competition and congratulated them.

Prathibha Vaidya compered the programme. Swavalambana Kendra manager, Jyothi Hegde rendered the vote of thanks.
