Kundapur: Two habitual criminals expelled from district

Kundapur, Jan 21: Deputy superintendent of police Hariram Shankar, has informed that under orders of externment passed by the sub-divisional magistrate here, two persons who were caught multiple times for involvement with several criminal cases, have been banished from the district.

Those who have been ordered out of the district limits happen to be Muhammed Rafiq, resident of Fatima Manzil at Kody in the taluk, and Mohiuddin Beary, residing at Kandlagidde in Guilvady village in the taluk.

The two persons whose externment has been ordered were involved in over 15 criminal cases, Hariram Shankar stated. Those who were expelled out of the Udupi district limits to Bhatkal subdivision in Uttara Kannada were instructed to be arrested on Monday evening for being produced before the deputy superintendent of police at Bhatkal.
