Kaup: Three couples get married, Polipu mosque ustad felicitated

Kaup, Jan 20: The concluding programme of 20th anniversary of Polipu Khavvathul Islam Youngmen’s association was held in Polipu Jamia masjid premises on Sunday. Three couples also got married during the celebrations.

Senior ustad P B Ahmed Musliar Kaup of the district who has served in Polipu mosque for fifty years was felicitated on the occasion. Bollur Juma Masjid Khateeb Mohammed Azhar Faizi Bollur performed Dua.

Kajur Tanjal led the Nikah. Punjalkatte Ustad P Mohammed Bakhavi Punjalkatte gave blessings. President of the association, Akram Goodwill chaired the programme.

Kolake Juma Masjid Mudarris Badruddin Ahsani, Kaup Sadar Muallim Abdurrazak Khasimi, Kombagudde Gousia Juma Masjid Khateeb Maulana Abdul Hakeem, Mullooru Al Ihsan manager Mustafa Saadi, Polipu Masjid president K S Abbas, association founder president Kapikad Hasanabba, vice president Ashraf, Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, entrepreneur Suresh Shetty Gurme, JDS district president Yogish Shetty, SDPI Kaup zonal councillor member Nazeer Ahmed, Dandatheertha educational institute management official Alban Rodrigues, Congress Kaup block minority division’s H Abdulla, municipal councillor Suresh Devadiga, Kaup Mahajan Mitra Sangha president H Mohammed, entrepreneur Sadik Sahil and others were present.

Association secretary Rabab welcomed. Joint secretary Shabbir read the report. Organizing secretary Arif Kallya rendered the vote of thanks. Moideen master compered the programme.
