Abu Dhabi, Dec 16: India Social and Cultural Centre Abu Dhabi (ISC) the winner of the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman 2017, the largest socio–cultural organization for the Indian community outside India is organizing another edition of Mr ISC-UAE Open Body Building Competition – 2019.
ISC facilitates its members with Badminton, Squash, Tennis, Table Tennis, Snooker, Swimming pool and a high profile Gymnasium. With a current strength of 2,300 members (8000 including dependants) and with its state-of-the-art building spanning over an area of 90,000 sq ft, India Social & Cultural Centre, Abu Dhabi is the largest recreational centre for the expatriate Indian community and enjoys an atmosphere of harmony and goodwill.
This premier socio-cultural organization was established in the year 1967. Social services, cultural activities and sports have been incessant achievements throughout 52 years of its existence associating in cultural diversities and traditions of UAE and India, as the main objective. The centre by its pride and dignity has always been recognized as a unique platform for all highly reputed corporates wherein the benefits rewarded are mutual.
D Nadarajan, the president of ISC announced the launching of the Mr ISC-UAE Open Body Building Competition – 2019. He also briefed that the gym section in ISC Abu Dhabi has a strength of around 400 members, utilizing the facility regularly.
"The highlight of this privileged event is that this competition is open to nationalities all over the UAE. We expect approximately 100 participants from all over the UAE. The main objective of this event is to inspire the spirit of the game irrespective of nationalities and to bring them together as 'One Team' in India Social and Cultural Centre.
Sathya Babu, General Secretary remarked that the overall participation is expected to reveal a show worthy of excellent skills combined with high endurance levels and the goal to attain the championship under the roof of ISC, Abu Dhabi. It is a great opportunity for all body building lovers around UAE to witness this big sporting event which is scheduled on December 20.
General Secretary also stated that for the first time in the history of ISC, current Mr Universe will grace this prestigious competition as chief guest and we are all set to receive the world champion Mr Chitharesh Natesan in ISC.
Prakash Thampy, sports secretary commented that lots of bodybuilding professionals in this region are fortunate to see the current Mr Universe in ISC. Sports secretary urged the bodybuilding lovers to not miss this amazing opportunity and ISC is pleased to announce that the entry is free for all spectators of this event.
