Kasargod: Two youngsters die in bus-bike accident at Manjeshwar

Kasargod, Dec 15: Two youths died in an accident between a bus and a two-wheeler at Manjeshwar here on Sunday December 15.

The deceased have been identified as Jagadish (22) and his friend Sunil (21), both residents of Kudlu Ramadasnagara in Kasargod.

While one of them died on the spot, the other passed away in a hospital in Mangaluru.

The bus, belonging to Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), was plying from Kasargod to Mangaluru while the youths were riding from Manjeshwar to Kasargod.

The bodies have been shifted to the mortuary at Kasargod general hospital.

A painter by occupation, Sunil was the son of Kushal and Usha. Jagadish, son of Shivanand and Shanta, was working as a technician in a mobile shop in the vicinity of Kasargod new bus stand.

Manjeshwar police have registered a case.

    Does the KSRTC drivers come under Law and Order or no? Or a Govt Lawyer saves them Everytime?
    Has Modi Govt still not thought of stingent laws towards Drivers who drive recklessly resulting in death equal to murder ???
    Should give a death penalty and blood money clause to these ones ...

    Many a times fault lies with other road users and they use the road as if they are OWNERS of the road. It is a National Highway and not a village road. Do not blame KSRTC drivers when the fault lies with other Road Users. JAI HIND.
