Mangaluru: Outreach programme by St Joseph Engineering College

Mangaluru, Dec 10: The staff and students of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, visited St Michael Higher Primary School, Ammunje, as a part of its Outreach Program. Ammunje is one of the villages adopted by SJEC. This event was organized by the Culture and Media Group of the college in association with Sports and Community Group.

During this visit, the head of the school, Fr Patric Sequeira addressed the students and appreciated the efforts of the team from St Joseph Engineering College. The teachers present on the occasion blessed the students and encouraged them to work diligently to enjoy their childhood a transient phase to the optimum.

The team from SJEC conducted various games and fun activities for the kids of the school throughout the course of the day. The students of SJEC were accompanied by Ajithanjaya Kumar, chairperson of Sports & Community Group, Supriya Salian, chairperson of Culture & Media Group, Prathima S, Venita Navya Monteiro, Vaneesha Rodrigues, Subramanya K, Smitha D’Souza, Eden Sequeira and Poornesh M who played the role of facilitators.
