Karkala, Dec 10: Narayana Naik (85), residing near Mutlupady school at Andaru ended his life on Monday December 9 by jumping into a well located in the neighbourhood of his residence.
It is gathered that Naik was suffering from mental issues since the last three years. He used to often lose control over his actions and roam around the area near his residence and roads in the neighbourhood. Although he got treatment for this problem, there was no improvement in his condition, it is said.
A complaint of unnatural death was registered in Ajekar police station in this respect.
