Modi hails Karnataka results, says Congress taught a lesson

Ranchi, Dec 9 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the bypoll results in Karnataka and said that those who formed the government through backdoor ignoring people's mandate have been taught a lesson. The Prime Minister was speaking at a rally in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh on Monday.

"The Karnataka bypoll results is answer to the Congress which grabbed the power through backdoor. It is also answer to all states where mandate of people has been ignored," said Modi.

He further said, "People have responded through democratic way. Today bypoll results have decided who would rule Karnataka. The BJP was given mandate but Congress hatched a conspiracy and grabbed the power from backdoor. It is the old habit of the Congress to play behind the curtain. People have now punished them. People have chosen a stable and strong government for development of Karnataka".

The BJP is heading for a landslide victory in Karnataka Assembly by-elections, as it is ahead in 12 of the 15 seats it contested on December 5, as the final result is yet to be declared.

"The people of Jharkhand should also learn from Karnataka. The situation like Karnataka should not crop up in Jharkhand after the polls. The Congress has never believed in coalition politics. They have treated allies like puppets in lieu of support," Modi further said.

"If there is a hung Assembly, Jharkhand will witness Karnataka like situation", Modi warned.

He cautioned people that they would not get the benefit of the central government's schemes if BJP is not voted back to power.

Modi once again targeted the Congress for keeping the issues of Ram temple and Article 370 pending for 70 years. "Now the Constitution of India has been implemented in Jammu and Kashmir," he said.

Come and see the effects of a total structural breakdown of the economy; cookie workers finding it hard to get work even for 15days a month!

Those who invested in real estate & stock market have lost their undergarments!

More and more scams opening up; lacs of innocent investors on the verge of commiting suicide!

NATURE too showing it's wrath; crops destroyed, lacs of people homeless due to unprecedented rains, landslides etc.

The coming year will show the "full blown" results of all this!!

Don't ever invest your savings in the stock Mkt or real estate; scatter it across different banks, post office, mutual funds, bullion to be safe!!

Our PM is Miraculous. Whenever there is election and BJP won suddenly he comes out and big noise. For common man issues I never seen him speaking. His only advantage is he give big baashans and spread false agenda. He speak about himself all nonsense. But he never spoke about his education, schools and I wonder no one single citizen of the country don't remember who studied with him.

It means they have a strong loyalty to the BJP like you have to other parties. In a democracy you have to listen to the vox populi or the peoples mandate. You may not agree with it but that is the beauty of a democracy as opposed to dictatorship. Your statement blaming the voters is just like a spoilt child who cries when his parents do not heed his unreasonable demands. Congress has suffered mightily due to this attitude and arrogance. It is time to wake up and smell the coffee. I support BJP but want a strong opposition as a check and balance in a healthy democracy. Unfortunately congress seems unable to get out of its long self imposed hibernation.

The bullet train from Mumbai to Gujrat will be a total flop, the rate for one time travel will cost Rs. 4500 to Rs.5000/- just to break even. There is no need of bullet train instead develop the Indian railways.

In the global developed countries, all politicians.. seasoned or otherwise are answerable to grilling questions put forth by the general public. Answers to the same are demanded and non of the politicians can escape scott free. It should be implemented here also in our country. No escaping from that. That's how the politicians are made answerable and professional too. Contrast to that, here in India, Narendra behaves as if the entire country is his and only his and he can do anything as per his whims and fancies and no one can question his authority. Add to this, he does not even have the basic common sense/logic to weigh priorities vis-a-vis ordinary unfinished assignments.

Modi's only intention is to destroy congress party, abuse them, insult them and rejoice over congress down fall. Until then he remains restless. A matured man of wisdom should refrain from such cheap attitude of acting like small children. All kids take pleasure when their enemy/opposite kid fails, falls or gets injured and keep making different tone and laughter and our Honorable PM still seems to be in his childhood days. Almighty God send some wisdom for country's sake.

Economy is not a priority. First security. Demonetization, GST, Ram Janmabhoomi, killing terrorists, article 370, NRC, population control are priority. People elected Modi to do these things. Not to improve economy. That can be done by anyone.

article 370 - kept entire state of kashmiris under house arrest without connection and even food
NRC - other citizens dont have a right in their own country!!
population control - India will beat China in the near future

Electoral bonds - BJP got 95% of lakhs of crores, most legalised scam ever (most corrupt govt ever)
Beti bachao - Shameful to even comment what's happening to our girls
Commodity prices - Onions and other food stuff, check inflation at all time high, what will the poor eat??
Petrol - Your PM ridiculed this under the old govt. now sits quiet like the person he is
Rupee - Is in ICU, just like your PM ridiculed this under the old govt.
Man, you deserve the govt. you elected.
When will you come out from the closet and realize its not about communalism, the country is in doldrums man
