Bellevision Bahrain holds grand 9th annual day celebration

Bahrain, Dec 9: Bellevision Bahrain celebrated the end of a transcendent and indelible year of 2019 by organizing their 9th annual day on the December 5 at the Pappillon restaurant with great exuberance and unmatched zeal.

The programme began with an invocation to the almighty where the Bellevision family prayed together led by Davina, Reeshel and Rochelle for the well being of the community and of the world at large. Joel D’Sa welcomed the gathering and invited the ExCom to join him on the stage after which a unique and multilingual welcome was extended to all, whereby the 8 committee members used 8 different languages to greet all those present.































Arun Fernandes began his presidential speech by quoting Mother Teresa, ‘I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things.’ He then extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries present and expressed his gratitude to all for their support throughout. He stressed on the fact that nothing is that big a hurdle if all remain united and work towards solving it. This was followed by cutting of the cake by the executive committee.

Nirmala Fernandes, general secretary, presented the annual report, shedding light upon the critical events of the year gone by.

The vote of thanks was rendered by Vincent Martis, assistant general secretary.

Anchor for the day, the charming and vibrant, Adline Noronha then took over and extended a warm welcome to all.

The thematic show of talent, imagination and organization was the essence of the evening. The stage took on hues, enhancing the mood of every emotion.

The venue reverberated with thunderous applause at the dance by little stars Alec, Annora, Alan, Iral, Irwin, Meloria, Reeve and Simone, wonderfully choreographed by Wenola.

The mesmerizing performances by Alisha, Delisha, Erina, Nikita, Reeva, Reeve and Ries showcased their talents with aplomb. A foot tapping dance medley by five Bellevision couples, Joel-Hilda, Rony-Nirmala, Arun-Deepika, Alban-Niloufer, and Preetham-Pramila, evoked nostalgic feelings among the audience.

With the dawn of the advent season, Bellevision Bahrain had a mini Christmas Celebration, where a beautifully decorated Christmas tree was unveiled and Christmas Carols were sung. Children received a pleasant surprise to see their favorite Santa doling out sweets from his goody bag.

Dedicated Bellevision members, who stood by the Excom throughout the year by ensuring that they attend all the member’s meetings to extend their valued support, were extolled and presented with attractive gifts.

Beautiful singing by Rony Fernandes and Pritham Aranha brought symphony and melody into life.

The uproarious skits enacted by Bellevision stars, including the little ones Annora, Reeve, Arun Fernandes, Ivan D’Souza and Pritham Aranha drove the audience into howls of laughter.

Lucky parents who were blessed with new born during the year were congratulated and presented with gifts.

The registration counter was well handled by Preethi Mendonca and Rashmi Fernandes. Delicious cake sponsored by Naveen was enjoyed by all. The ExCom felicitated the sponsors with mementoes as a token of appreciation.

DJ for the evening, Alwyn, was commendable and the highlights of the evening were beautifully photographed by Ronald Fernandes.

A grand raffle draw was conducted by giving away six attractive prizes. The prizes were sponsored by generous members.

The celebration concluded with the grace before meals led by our children followed by a delicious dinner buffet.
