Mangaluru, Dec 7: The muhurat of maiden directorial film venture of Srisha Nayak, ‘Shakalaka Boom Boom’ was held recently and its shooting has begun.

The film is being shot at Udupi, Manipal, Parkala, Karkala, Mangaluru, Chikkamagaluru and Madikeri. The team has said that the first session of the shooting will be completed in December in the duration of 25 days.

While Laksha Shetty is the heroine, SPL and Godwin Sparkal will be seen as heroes in the film. The film will be produced in Kannada and Tulu languages.

Nithyananda Nayak and Umesh Prabhu have shouldered the responsibility of production. SPL has written the story and dialogues are written by Arjun Louis. Photography and editing are of Prajwal Suvarna and Arun Rai Puttur. Music is being provided by Karthik Mulky, Pattan Perera and Anand Perduru.

Coastalwood and sandalwood stars Arvind Bolar, Umesh Mijar, Ravirama Kunja, Roopashree Varkady, Vasanth Muniyal, Manohar Nandalike and others are in the cast.
