Mumbai: ‘Alcoholic’ man killed by both his wives

Mumbai, Dec 6: An unemployed alcoholic was allegedly murdered by his two wives in Goregaon West on Thursday morning.

The 32-year old deceased, identified as Raju Waghmare, was murdered at his home in a slum colony, where he lived with his two wives and their children.

Police said Raju’s hands and feet were allegedly tied to the bed by the women and they smothered him with a pillow at around 1 am on Thursday.

Police also added that the women were fed up with Raju’s behaviour and decided to kill him since he regularly harassed them after drinking too much.

The body was sent for postmortem and the police have arrested the women Savita and Sarita Waghmare.
