Mangaluru: Kannada movie 'Lungi' completes successful 50 days

Mangaluru, Dec 5: The 50th Day celebration of Kannada movie 'Lungi' produced by Mukhesh Hegde under the banner Khara Entertainment and directed by Arjun Lewis and Akshith Shetty was held at Big Cinemas of Bharat Mall in the city recently.

Mukhesh Hegde said that the movie produced by young and talented boys is liked by the audience and has completed 50 days.

Pranav Hegde said that the story line of the movie, though simple, is being portrayed in a different way by the directors. This is liked by the audience.

Speaking on the occasion, renowned Tulu movie and stage artiste Devdas Kapikad said, "Through the movie 'Lungi' Kannada has got a new actor in the form of Pranav Hegde. Let him grow into a successful cine star in future."

Balakrishna Shetty, manager of Big Cinemas, Dr Suresh and Vishwanath Asaigoli were present on the occasion.

Lungu movie has got a story which presents the speaking style of Mangaluru and has got a very good message to the youth. Ahalya Suresh and Radhika Rao are the lead female actors of the move. The other cast of the movie includes Prakash Thuminadu, VJ Vineet, Kartik Varadaraju, Deepak Rai Panaje, Jayaraj and Roopa Varkady.
