Belagavi: Ramesh Jarikiholi talks of victory, bringing Siddaramaiah into BJP

Daijiworld Media Network - Belagavi (SP)

Belagavi, Dec 5: BJP candidate from Gokak constituency and former minister, Ramesh Jarkiholi, said that he had grown stronger in the face of efforts by his brother, Sathish Jarkiholi, to crush him. He vowed to field his son-in-law, Ambi Rao Patil, opposite his brothers, Sathish and Lakhan Jarkiholi, in the future.

Jarkiholi, who is one among the disqualified legislators fighting the election, surprised the audience by saying on Thursday, December 5 that he does not like to make any loose talk about Siddaramaiah, his erstwhile colleague. He, however, promised the people to see that Siddarmaaiah crosses over to the BJP in the coming days.

He had a jab at Laxmi Hebbalkar, by saying that he does not like to speak about a lady who sold flower in the bus stand and operated STC booth. He launched a tirade against his brother, Lakhan Jarkiholi, who is fighting against him, by saying that his brother was fighting the election to spend money earned by dubious means.

He, however, said he finds D K Shivakumar to be a good friend, but for his interference in Belagavi politics. He termed Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president, Dinesh Gundu Rao, as a useless person.

He said that BJP will win 14 of the 15 constituencies going to the poll, and the other candidate who may be defeated will be made a minister by getting him elected to the legislative council.
