Mangaluru: Children’s Day, International Day for People with Disability celebrated by Vikaas College

Mangaluru, Dec 5: Vikaas College of physiotherapy celebrated Children’s Day and International Day for persons with disabilities on December 3.

Koragappa, trustee, Vikaas group of institutions, Partha Sarathi J Palemar, coordinator, Vikaas Group of Institutions, Dr Manjula Rao, dean, Vikaas Group of Institutions, Raja Ram Rao, academic director, Vikaas Group of Institutions, and Dr Ajay Thakur, principal, Vikaas College of Physiotherapy, were the dignitaries for the occasion.

Dr. Ajay Thakur welcomed the gathering. Dr Rakesh Krishna, associate professor, Vikaas College of Physiotherapy, took a lecture to all physiotherapy students. Post lecture, cake cutting, gifts distribution and games was conducted for various children with disabilities. Around 15 disabled children along with parents attended the event. Vote of thanks was given by Dr Rakesh Krishna and Dr Priya was the host for entire event. Lunch and refreshments were provided to all the parents, children and students.
