Mangaluru: National level quiz 'ExQUIZite - 2019’ held at SAC

Mangaluru, Dec 2: The Quiz Association of St Aloysius College organized 'ExQUIZite - 2019’, a national level quiz competition on November 29 at Eric Mathais Hall. The quiz was conducted by quiz master Siddarth, secretary of the Quiz Association.

Principal Fr Dr Praveen Martis, SJ, inaugurated the event. In his inaugural address, he stressed the importance of knowledge and concentration in quiz. Closing ceremony was graced by EC/CC coordinator Ashok M Prasad.



The quiz was open to all the PUC and degree students of Karnataka and Kerala state. As many as 23 Teams from different colleges participated in the Competition. Through the prelims, top 6 teams were selected for the finals. The third place was bagged by Amit Bhat Nekkare and K V Sai Ritwik. The second place was bagged by Aakash Wilfred and Shubhang B of NITK, Surathkal. The first place was bagged by Shrikrishna and Rolon Gomes of NAMIT. Cash prizes worth Rs 5,000 were distributed among for top 3 teams and e-certificates for all the participants were awarded.

This event was successful with the help of quiz presidents Vanaja, Praveen, Ramya and secretaries Siddarth, Neil Corda and quiz association members.

The quiz was very informative and well appreciated by the participants.
