Mangaluru: Inter-school competition 'Sparkle - 2019' celebrated at Milagres CBSE School

Mangaluru, Nov 21: Milagreans on November 20 celebrated an auspicious day on the occasion of inter-school competition ‘Sparkle - 2019’.

The chief guest, Dr Farita Viegas, principal, St Aloysius Institute of Education, the manager, Fr Joseph Lobo, the campus director, Fr Michael Santhumayor, vice-president of the PTA, Sathish Ullal and the principal, Elveera Lasrado were welcomed and escorted to the venue for the inaugural function.



The chief guest of the inaugural ceremony, Dr Farita Viegas inaugurated the competitions by lighting the lamp and addressed the gathering urging all the participants to uphold their tradition and culture wherever they go. She asked them to set goals in life which will help them develop their personality.

The Reignbow King- Colouring Competitions, Plasticine- Clay Modeling Competition, Fashion Show, Story Time- Moral storytelling competition, Shade Out-Pencil Sketching Completion, Origami Crane - Paper Origami Competition, Poetry Magic- Poetry competition, Design your comics, Pick and speak, Poster Making, English Character Enactment, Miming, Quiz commenced soon after the inaugural and around 220 students from the vicinity participated enthusiastically.

The whole campus reverberated with a competitive spirit among the students. The winners were awarded prizes. The overall championship was won by Sharada Vidyalaya, Kodialbail.
