Mangaluru, Nov 19: The airport and surrounding areas were enveloped in thick fog during the early hours on Monday, November 18. As a result, an Air India flight from Abu Dhabi, which reached here at 4.30 am, could not land. It was diverted to Kochi.

It returned to the airport here at 8.05 am. The flight, which was to return to Dubai at 6.05 am, therefore, departed late at 9 am.
