Ravi Shastri posts bowling pics, draws sarcastic remarks


New Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS): Indian cricket team head coach Ravi Shastri has elicited quite a few humorous and sarcastic tweets after he posted on Twitter two pictures of him in bowling action.

The former cricketer on November 13 posted the pictures on his Twitter handle @RaviShastriOfc with the caption: "Old habits die hard #INDvBAN #Cricket".

It has since garnered over 13k likes and some sarcastic and funny commentes from tweeples.

One user said: "Daru ka aadat jaldi nahi jaata. Old habits". Another commented: "Daru wali old habits".

A Twitter user remarked: "Beer main ice kaun dalta hai". "He is getting 10 Crores salary for this. #INDvBAN," added another.

Other tweets read: "Guys here he is talking about Old Monk"; "50 rupyee kaat over acting ke"; "Want yo yo test for head coach...Beer bellies never die...Dekh k laag rahahe is delivery v peg le ke kar raha hai...Yes; Seems like pouring whisky in a glass pose...Looking fit sir. When did you stop drinking and joined gym."

A few tweeted to credit former India captain and BCCI President Saurav Ganguly, with one user remarking: "Abhi coach lag raha hai...@SGanguly99 aaney ke baad ..bohut kuch change hoga".

Ravi Shastri played for India between 1981 and 1992 in both Tests and ODIs.

Ravi Shastri is often seen getting trolled by his own followers. While several of his previous posts have also received similar treatment, sometimes he has also been targeted despite not posting anything on his own.
