Udupi: Tension prevails after youths take selfie in gym, police intervene

Udupi, Nov 14: There were some tensed moments at Doddanagudde after some youth took selfie with the photo of deity. 

The incident took place at a gym at Doddanagudde on Thursday, November 14. 

Some youths, who came to the gym, allegedly took selfie with the photo of a deity. This angered others and they asked the youths not to do the same. At that time some arguments took place between the groups. 

It is said that the troublemakers ran away from the place. 

As per later reports the police took three persons into custody and the situation is calm now after the police intervened.

    There is nothing wrong it is so silly to find fault in taking a selfie with a diety maybe naked since that was the dress code in ancient India too,tribals and forest ascetics were half naked. Nothing is wrong .It is mere or sher narrow mindedness

    After all, who created deities? We ourselves have created Gods and deities.
    Man created Gods for his protection but now fighting with each other to protect Gods and deities. It’s ridiculous but true! No one can deny the naked truth.

    This sickness of selfi is now everywhere with everything everybody almost.That makes a lot of trouble many times.some even lost life due to negligence.Why should a selfi in a Gym?Depends upon which motiv he aimed ?some person behind or really deity?Anyway other side some people misbelieve everything going around them .Best is dont give chance to such incidents.Now police have arrested some person.They will clear this after looking into his mobile .
