Mangaluru: Athena Institute of Health Sciences inaugurates various courses

Mangaluru, Oct 17: Course inauguration of 17th batch of GNM, 16th batch of BSc, 11th batch of PB BSc, MSc nursing and 3rd batch of BSc renal dialysis courses for the academic year 2019-20 was done by lighting an Indian lamp by the chairman, R S Shettian, secretary, Asha Shettian, principal, Sr Dhanya Devasia, vice-principal, Dr Sr Alphonsa and student representatives from each course at Athena College auditorium on 17th October.

A meaningful prayer service was conducted by Sr Laveena D'Souza and her team followed by a welcome speech proposed by Sonia Lobo, HOD of Psychiatric department.



 

Chairman and the principal in their message said that the institution is proud to have them as students and is willing to do everything possible for their all-round development and wished them well to bloom where they are planted.

Renita Tauro, faculty of Medical Surgical Nursing department compered the programme.

Sharlet D’Souza, associate professor of Paediatric department proposed the vote of thanks.
