Puttur, Oct 16: A case stands registered against the acting head teacher of a school under Puttur rural police station limits for allegedly sexually harassing the girl student of the school.
Nasir (40), a resident of Olamogru of the taluk is the person who was arrested by the police.
Nasir was acting head master of one of the government high schools in the taluk. The minor girl, who is a student of the said high school, had come to pay the examination fee on October 14. During that time, Nasir allegedly harassed her sexually.
Nasir was arrested by the police on October 16 and a case has been registered based on the complaint filed by the victim in the Puttur rural police station under column 12 POCSO and 354 (A) (1) (iv).
