Abu Dhabi, Sep 4: An Indian man hailing from Sullia in the state of Karnataka, won the September month Big Raffle draw, held at Abu Dhabi International Airport on Thursday evening, October 3. The lucky man who has never visited UAE, will be taking home a whopping 12 million AED (INR 23.16 crore).

Mohammed Fayaz J A, the 24-year-old works as an accountant in a firm in Mumbai. He purchased the ticket online in India along with his roommate.

As reported in Khaleej Times, Fayaz said, "It’s my roommate who gave me the idea to buy Big Ticket. I couldn't buy for two months as the deadline was over. But this time, I bought it just in time, the last day of September. I am really a lucky winner." When Richard the host from the Big Ticket Draw tried to reach Fayaz, his phone was busy, and when the line connected, Fayaz couldn't believe his luck. "I checked online to verify. Last night, I had a dream that I would win this. I told my friend that something great is happening soon," Fayaz added.

Fayaz who lost both his parents to kidney disease had to face a lot of hardship and moved to Mumbai a year back to make ends meet. He has two sisters and a brother. Fayaz said, ''I want to reclaim the land we had to sell. I will look to finish construction work of our home soon. I will also do some charity work. I have never been to the UAE. Now I will be there next month to receive the cheque."

congrats and good luck. Do not invest right now as the economic situation is bad all over the world. Abu Dhabi is a better choice to invest in real estate as they have good revenue coming in regardless of outside market conditions. certainly invest in your native land and have a roof over your head.

It is very safe to buy three Apartments here. You can stay in one house and give other houses for rent. Dubai is safer. Even your sister and brother can stay here. All this will be less than 40% of the amount you have won.

You are right, money comes and goes, but not this kind of huge fortune. It comes only "once" in a lifetime.
