Kundapur: Auto rickshaw driver assaults man for questioning wrong side entry

Kundapur, Sep 23: An altercation followed by fisty cuffs occurred near Kundeshwara Dwara of the town on Saturday, September 21.

Dinesh, a resident of BHM Road of Vaderahobali village sells flowers near the Parijata Circle of the city. When he was going to home after finishing the business for the day, Abdul Wahid came on wrong side from Shastri Park side on his auto rickshaw and stopped his auto rickshaw in front of Dinesh. When Dinesh questioned the wrong side entry of Abdul Wahid, he is alleged to have attacked Dinesh. A complaint in this regard is filed in the police station.

There is also a counter complaint filed in this case accusing Dinesh of assaulting auto rickshaw driver Abdul Wahid with his helmet.

SP Nishan James visited the spot of the incident and conducted inspection. ASP Hariram Shankar, Circle inspector Manjappa and SI Harish R Naik were also present during the spot inspection with the SP.
