Puttur, Sep 23: A huge public blood donation camp was held under the joint auspices of Sal Sabeel Young Mens Koornadka and Blood Helpline Karnataka (R) with the cooperation of HDFC bank and active involvement of Yenepoya hospital Deralakatte at the premises of Najatsubian Madrasa of Koornadka on Sunday, September 22.
The programme was inaugurated by president of Koornadka Peer Mohalla Juma Masjid Janab K H Kasim Hajee. Mudarris Ustad B K Abdul Khader Al Qasimi Bambrana gave the blessings. Khatib Unnais Faizee Ustad was also present on the dais.
63 donors donated the blood in the camp. The medical officers and staff of Yenepoya hospital Deralakatte cooperated in drawing the blood from the donors.
Siraj Koornadka welcomed the gathering. The programme was compered by Basheer Koornadka.
