Kalaburagi: 28-year-old BJP activist killed by friends while partying

Kalaburagi, Sep 19: A BJP activist was stabbed to death in Kharge colony on Afzalpur road situated in the outskirts of Kalaburagi. 

The murder victim is identified as 28-year-old Prashanth Kotaragi. 

Prashanth had quarreled with his family on Wednesday and later attended a party with his friends. Prashanth was found dead on Thursday and the initial police investigations reveal he was murdered by his friends.

 

Prashanth had organised the party and had invited his friends by calling them over phone. The friends allegedly got drunk while partying and later fought for unknown reasons. Prashanth was stabbed with a dagger during the fight, it is said. 

Prashanth’s friends are absconding and the police have formed a special squad to nab them. 

A case stands registered in Kalaburagi rural police station.

    An only week ago Karnataka State Excise minister H Nagesh Following public criticism, who had announced a proposal to deliver liquor to the doorsteps of consumers in certain areas of tribal villages, retracted his statement and stated that there is no such plan before the state government.

    Now Sansakri party of BJP alcohol has resulted in its own member's murder. Imagine if a party wants the door delivery service impressed by 'Zomato' what will be the consequence of the normal life Kanndigas?

    This is the same BJP which preaches 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padho' and worship 'Bharat Mata' elects Deputy Chief Minister who is caught watching 'porn' in the sanctity of assembly.

    Cynthi kirem,Politician a young person had fight at home goes call friends do a Party somewhere.First let police findout who were called and were present.Nowadays with digital help not a difficult to findout..Only will be difficult to know who had brought weapons with,with intention?Or was a opposition so called friend?or a killer mixed ?Anyone sent one from family itself?that should be found .sad a young man a politician ,was killed.politic sometimes has its bad and sad sides.He shouldnt have serve drinks as politician.and take care to mix with everyone or a body guard should be engaged to watch him during his activities.
